We have invited experts on federal higher education policy to join student leaders for discussions on relevant, timely, topics. There will be three concurrent panels from which attendees can choose to attend one:

  1. Higher Education Authorization Act (HEA) Reauthorization
  2. Equity in Higher Education with Terri Taylor from Lumina Foundation and Lauren Thompson Starks from Southern New Hampshire University and NCLC Board of Directors
  3. Free Speech with Lorelle Espinoza from American Council on Education and Sarah Kenny, former student body president of University of Virginia

During this session, participants will learn a technique for task prioritization that can aide in creating an action plan. Participants will also solidify commitments to themselves and one another about how to put into place what was gained at the Summit.
